How to cook minced pork fried with Thai basil - Authentic Thai Menu


Hi! , I'm Aom. I'm Thai and married Singaporean. My hubby and his family like to eat Thai Food.
My hubby and me seldom eat Thai food outside because expensive and not really authentic. Because of some restaurant they anyhow cook ... Honestly tell you, can eat only not really authentic as what you eat in Thailand.

Luckily that i can cook lol, because i cook for my family and every body said "yummy".
Actually, I seldom cook last time before i married . But  when i married i slowly try and learn how to cook . i learn how to cook from  Youtube that Thai people share know how and  find ingredients in website. 

So, I would like to share how to cook authentic Thai "minced pork fried with basil", easy thai menu that  you can do at home.

First let prepare Ingredients first! 

Ok! must to let all of you know that  it's vey easy to find all ingredients in Thailand but if your are in Singapore, it's quite difficult to find the ingredient like  "Thai basil leaf" in supermarket outside. So, I recommend you to go to Thai supermarket at Golden Mild Complex to buy all ingredients there! it's easy to you to get all ingredient in one short. :)

Ingredients: 
- mined of pork meat
- 4-5 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 1-2 fresh red chilies, chopped fine (OR substitute 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. dried crushed chili)
- 4-5 green onions, sliced (but if you don't like you just don't put it) for me i never put onion because i don't like 
- Big bunch of Thai basil leaves (sweet basil is OK but not as splash of dark soy sauce because Thai basil leave can make  you dish have an authentic smell of thai food : )
- 2-3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tsp fish sauce (salt)
- Splash of dark soy sauce
-  1 tsp sugar 

How to : 
-  Heat oil in a wok over medium heat
- Add minced garlic,  stir until cooked - only a few minutes
- Add onion, chillies and stir to combine (if you like to put onion)
- Add minced of pork meat and stir to combine everything in your pan
- Add a little bit of  water
- Add fish sauce, Oyster Sauce
- Add dark soy sauce (just 1 of small slapsh only) * please noted that don't put to much of  dark soy sauce if not  will have very dark when you finish ^^"
- Add Thai basil leave
- Cook another minute or two, then serve on rice.













* if you want to cook  Thai basil fried rice you just add some of rice when your meat already cooked. 
So, you can have Thai basil fried rice. ^^

* you can put sliced pork to cook  minced pork fried with Thai basil also ^^
