DIY Wedding Pom-Pom

Hi! Long time never update my blog because of no time to update ^^ "
Busy do others things ...

I left 2 months plus for my wedding day... so I still got time to do decoration props for my wedding.
And  here's a fun little project to create my own personalized wedding designs and of this wedding DIY pom pom can help me make environment at my house look nicer :)
ok! Let's start it!!  ^^

Things to prepare :
1. Tissue paper
2. Crepe paper
3.  Wire
4. Ribbon, floral wire, fishing wire (to hang with the wall or roof)

How to :
 1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue paper. Make 1 1/2-inch wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold.
Tips : Can mix different of layers tissue paper as you want
 2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.
 3. Separate each layer, pulling away from the center.
Tips: For nice results, pull away layers from the top and bottom of one side before moving on to the next side :)
 4. Tie a length of monofilament to ribbon, floral wire, fishing wire for hanging. 

My DIY Wedding ang pow box

Now is November 2012, It's quite a long way to reach my actual day March 9, 2013.

So, I just find something to do on weekend, Suddenly think an idea want to DIY my wedding ang pow pox because of I don't want to buy expensive ang pow box outside which is not nice to use one time and throw away. 

so this it's a good idea to do it myself ^^. Can save my money and can get ang pow bow that i want !

First process, I start to find DIY ang pow box idea from DIY website first to inspire your idea! 

For me I gonna DIY wedding ang pow box have 3 layers like cake. 

And this picture is my reference idea picture :) 

Ok next step see what  you should to prepare : 

- Box :  to make 3 layers 

the Largest size i use A4 paper carton 

- Lace, ribbon 

get it from my last time papa stocks (My family in Thailand run a garment business so we have this kind of decoration items a lot and luckily brought some to Singapore for decoration my ROM's Day in Singapore last year. 

- Wrapping Paper : (I choose to use pink color, my favorite color ^^) from DAISO 

- Scissor

- Glue

- Two sides tape 

- Pen Knife

- Small stuff toys or artificial flowers (Optional) 

all decorate items,  you can buy it it at DAISO, it's a good place to find a variety of decorate items in one shot. ^^

Let's start it !! 

1. make the hole two put ang pow and make the hole at the last layer box so that ang pow can go through the last box. 

2. Wrap all 3 boxes with white color paper first to cover the A4 paper carton box pattern. 

2. Wrap with pink color paper (use two sides tape) 

3. Put Ribbon to decorate the box

4. Put 3 layers together

4. Decorate with artificial flowers 

5. Decorate some pearl at the hole to make it nicer

Done !! 

Make a big hole for the last layer box

Wrap with color paper that you like and decorate it with small toys and artificial flower

Put some more decoration ^^ 

Completed !!

Nariko's Advanced BD Party with Dora theme

Yesterday, It's Saturday 3 November, 2012 and It was a little niece "Nariko" advanced birthday celebration's day.  Actually Nariko actual birthday is on 11 November but I've heard that all relative will travel to Genting so that my sister in law (Nariko's mom) plan to celebrate Nariko birthday in advance.

It was a very tiring day! so many relative come to my house. I wake up early in the morning help my mother in law to prepared some food and cooked Tom Yum Soup, BBQ sauce ( my own recipe ^^) and seafood sauce )

After cook finished I bring Nariko to take a shower and dress nice to get ready for her birthday party in evening time.

Afternoon time, I do the party decoration with Dora theme at home for niece Nariko while waiting for Naiko's mom come back home. 

About 3.30 pm. the decoration is 70%! completed!!  And unbelievable that i can blowing ballon about 10 balloons. Now, I'm very feel pain my cheek! = ="

Relative continually came and brought birthday present along to gave Nariko.

This year our family have a surprise for Nariko, my sister in law plan to have a surprise her own daughter to throw her pacifier on her 3 rd year birthday! party but never successful ! 

Nariko have 3 pacifiers and she throw 2 pacifier away bit still keep one. I know my sister in law don't want to push her too much because she about to cry when her mom ask her to throw away her pacifier. 

Actually children if grown more up it's very difficult to push them to stop to have pacifier so, it's better to stop to give them earlier when they was young like 1.5 - 2 years old. This is what my husband's friend said. I don't have experience so i couldn't say anything! but i agree with them. 

Now, little niece 3 years old already!  she simply adorable and smart ! I see her everyday and growing up so fast!! She'll my lovely niece forever:)

Neo Blythe “Prairie Posie” Christmas gift in advance from hubby

I got Christmas gift in advance from hubby. I'm very happy to get Neo Blythe “Prairie Posie” as a Christmas gift especial from my hubby who always say Blythe doll so expensive and not support me to play this doll. So, this is first time that he buy Blythe doll for me.

I got Neo Blythe “Prairie Posie in Singapore, the price is quite expensive.... I hope that i can go back travel japan one more time so that i can buy some collection back again. :)

Price is 320 SGD but the shop can give me discount at 300SGD.
It's ok better than don't have any discount. Next year i will buy in Thailand so that i can find more seller and can bargain more price.

Saturday! shopping again !!

 I wake up at 10.00 am  in the morning. The moment when i wake up i told myself that i need to go out do something, I can not stay at home ... Actually i got my freelance work to do but really no mood to do today. So, First thing that i did when i woke up was send sms to my Thai friend and assked her to go out meet up for shopping or had brunch together.

I wear new clothes that i just received ^^. Top and bottom all in pastel color. 

I am not self confident to wear short plant go out ^^ . I felt shy my leg ///^^///. 
There was a shower rain when i reached Bugis this afternoon.

My friend gave me a called and told me she was lated. 

So, I just walked around..... and waited my friend at Pastamania. I ordered chicken caesar salad. after i'm done my I met my friend , we go to bugis street for shopping together. 

Of course! I went to Isabelle shop again. ^^ Now, the lady boss not around. Her staff saids she go to travel and bring stocks back to Singapore. 

I bought only one top black color from Isabelle shop for wear to go to work during Private sale... I need to wear black color because all my colleague will wear uniform in Black color. I need to go to the shop stand by to help them. And I bought a fews skirts from Bugis street. 

After my friend and me enough shopping, we agreed go to ate Thai food.

So, We visited "Lerk Thai", Thai restaurant near bugis street. 

Actually i'm not anyhow eat Thai food in Singapoe if the chef not come from Thailand because i scare i will waste my money for food which not nice ^^" . 

But for Lerk Thai, I already asked the restaurant's staff, they said their chief come from Thailand. So, I am ok with it. Just Try!!

This is my first time visit Lerk Thai restaurant at Bugis Street

I ordered set lunch and Crystal noodle seafood salad share with my friends...
i am not very hungry because i jut ate salad at Pastamania and I'm still fulled.



Crystal noodle seafood salad which very sweet. My friends and me, we agreed to ask for lemon to add in and mix it again. for this dish i certified 5/10. 

Tom Yum Seafood, The taste a little bit salty! but not bad. I certified 7/10. 

Minced of chicken fried with basil ... This is my favorite dish and the Taste is good. I certified 9/10.

This Papaya Salad was very not nice like anyhow made and keep very long, the papaya not fresh at all. this side dish included together in the Lunch set that i ordered

In Singapore have only one place that can I go to eat very yummy papaya salad is Nong kai Restaurant at Golden mild only!

After eat finish, we went to Bugis plus to continued shopping ! 

And I bought a very nice Burberry touch perfume for men was an advance gift for my husband for 

our memorial day on 29 October. I just want to buy something surprise him because last year we never ever celebrate or made something special on that day.

Two Saturday i keep  shopping non stop.

Oh ! This month i'm a big shopper keep buy and buy I just calculate my money and i already spend my money exceed my target money that i planed to keep every month. T_T" 

Come on!! Less shopping next month !! Please !!!
